impact report 2023-2025

The Land Collective has now been running for nine years! Over time we have built strong relationships between young people and the built environment, creating opportunities that help people understand the industry, develop their skills and take meaningful steps towards their future.

Our recent report brings together the numbers behind our work, the programmes and partnerships that have shaped our community, and the stories of young people who have progressed through multiple touchpoints with The Land Collective.

Our impact in numbers
A snapshot of our growing community, programme participation, industry engagement and progression outcomes.

Our programmes and pathways
An overview of the different ways young people engage with us, from ESG Launchpad and Black Girls in Property to work experience, mentoring, outreach and industry exposure.

Where young people progress
We look at what happens beyond individual programmes and how sustained engagement can support progression into apprenticeships, university, internships, employment and entrepreneurial pathways.

Stories from our community
Meet members whose journeys have taken them from first exposure to the built environment through to careers in the sector.

Our employer partnerships
See how organisations across the built environment work with us to develop early talent, create meaningful opportunities and strengthen their connection with the next generation.

What comes next
We share our priorities for 2026 and beyond, including expanding our reach beyond London and continuing to rethink what early-career pathways can look like across the built environment.

A note on our impact

We have tried to make this report honest as well as celebratory. While many young people have progressed through our programmes and community, our tracking also shows where progression has not happened. Impact reporting should help us understand where our work is making a difference and where there is still more to do.
