Based out of the London Canary Wharf office, this is a unique opportunity for the successful candidates to be part of a 2-year tailor-made scheme. The successful candidates will be getting in-depth exposure and a unique opportunity to experience multiple areas of Loan Asset Management and Servicing, including transaction asset management, due diligence, and NPL work-out, as well as real estate valuation services.

The Programme

The candidates will be placed on a 2-year rotation across 2 – 3 business lines of Primary Servicing, Loan Asset Management and Real Estate Valuation Services. At the end of the programme we envisage that individuals will be placed in one of the business lines to further their career at SitusAMC.

Rotations & Areas of the Business

Primary Servicing

• Assisting a senior team member with managing a portfolio of loans from start to finish, gaining comprehensive knowledge of commercial real estate debt processes.
• Supporting the management of transactions involving multiple property types.
• Reading and understanding loan and real estate documentation.
• Preparing tenant-level information including financial trends and credit ratings, stock, market capitalisation and key financial ratios.
• Monitoring and providing detailed commentary on borrower’s property asset strategy and implementation of the strategy.

Loan Asset Management

• Analysing borrower reporting and third-party documents as necessary to track loan performance.
• Monitoring loan performance and preparing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders as required.
• Underwriting real estate properties and performing/non-performing loans.
• Assisting in loan restructuring, special servicing, and workout of NPL projects.
• Assisting with third-party instructions, including valuations, environmental and technical reports, and legal DD.

Real Estate Valuation Services

• Reviewing executive summaries, cash flows, and comparable data.
• Utilising Argus Enterprise for the creation and review of valuations, adopting both traditional income and DCF approaches.
• Utilising and assisting clients in using our proprietary valuation management system (VMS).
• Market research to assess real estate markets and establish comparable sets.
• Undertaking market analysis including data analytics to provide market commentary and colour.

We are looking for candidates who are problem-solvers, able to thrive in a team environment, and most importantly – keen to learn. Excellent communication, a can-do attitude, time management, and organisational skills are essential to succeeding in this role.

Applicants who succeed with us are self-motivated, capable of building and maintaining relationships and work effectively as part of a team. The applicant would ideally have an inquisitive nature and be curious.
You must have a grade C or above in all A-Levels and GCSEs. In addition, you will need a minimum of a 2:2 in any undergraduate degree. The programme will be highly rewarding, challenging at times and will provide a great insight into the world of commercial real estate.
